Join Like Whatever & friends at The Rec Room on their 2026 ‘The Fuckin Way She Goes’ Tour across Western Canada! Hailing all the way from Vancouver, BC, Like Whatever promises a night of high-energy, high-quality live music, joining forces with Griffin Lindal of Edmonton, prog heroes Precipice also from Vancouver, Wesley Wilson and the Ghosts of Red Deer, and Les Gigantiques of Calgary!

Like Whatever combines their sarcastic yet somehow wholesome sense of humour with their inescapable love of electrifying live performance, delivering a sweaty and infectious femme-fronted punk/rock experience. Featured heavily is the roaring saxophone, agile guitar riffs, and distorted bass that makes up their wall of sound, all paired with cheeky, memorable lyrics and a healthy splash of millennial pop-punk.

Precipice formed in 2018 after meeting at UBC, bonding over a shared love of progressive music that for each member started somewhere different. There could be a three minute pop-punk song that gets faster every chorus into a disco-infused outro, or an 11 minute progressive epic that is at times romantic, other times is full of noise and the suggestion of a blastbeat. Even that one song that has a Meshuggah-inspired breakdown guided by a charango, the band didn’t know that was coming at ALL. Precipice is open-minded in the rehearsal room so that onstage they are free.

Wesley Wilson and the Ghosts are a four-piece Central Alberta band making a cinematic mess of alternative, indie, punk, emo and folk. Our live show is a rollercoaster of loud and almost gospel moments. They’ve shared stages with Sloan, The Strumbellas, Concrete Vehicles, Julien Baker and Scenic Route to Alaska.

20 years ago Gary Reimer (Red Autumn Fall, Reflecting Skin, The Bang Lesters) and Conrad Montana (Anxious Poets, The Shinola's, Cripple Creek Fairies, Deadly Skulls) recorded an album with Andrew McDonald and Matthew Tait. Flash forward to the present: Trap one records unearthed the recording and asked “Hey, can we release this?” Humbled Reimer and Montana said yes. To round out a new lineup, Gary and Conrad stole the amazing rhythm section of Darell Hartlen (Agriculture Club, Constable Brennan, Deadly Skulls) and Josip Vulic (Sleeping Lorry, Slow talking Walter) and have started gigging again. New songs have been written, old songs have been revived.
